بِسْمِ ٱللّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Who is the most excellent of all the Sahaaba?
The most excellent of all the Sahaaba is Ameerul Mumineen Sayyiduna Abu Bakr as-Siddique (Allah be pleased with him).
Zubdatul Aarifeen Hazrath Data Ganj e Bakhsh Sayed Ali Hujweri (Allah be pleased with him) states, “The most excellent after the Ambiya (peace be upon them) is Hazrath Abu Bakr as-Siddique (Allah be pleased with him).”

Sultanul Auliya Shaikh Abdul Qaadir Jilani (Allah be pleased with him) states, “(from the Sahaaba) The most excellent is Hazrath Abu Bakr (Allah be pleased with him), then Hazrath Umar (Allah be pleased with him), then Hazrath Uthmaan, then Hazrath Ali (Allah be pleased with him).”

Mujadid-e-Islam Mulla Ali Qaari Hanafi (Allah be pleased with him) states, “The Ahle Sunnat wa Jamaat have Ijma (agreement) that the most excellent of all the Sahaaba is Hazrath Abu Bakr (Allah be pleased with him).”

Muhaqiq alal Itlaaq Shaikh Abdul Haqq Muhaddith Dehlwi (Allah be pleased with him) states, “Hazrath Abu Bakr (Allah be pleased with him) is the most excellent of all the Sahaaba.”

Fakhr-e-Jahaa Hazrath Khwaja Fakhruddeen Dehlwi Chishti Nizaami (Allah be pleased with him) states, “The most excellent person after the blessed personality of Rasoolullah (peace be upon him) is Hazrath Abu Bakr.”

Hazrath Shah Waliyuallah Muhaddith Dehlwi (Allah be pleased with him) records a Hadith wherein it is narrated that Hazrath Ali t once announced while standing on a Mimbar of Kufa, “The most excellent of this Ummah is Hazrath Abu Bakr (Allah be pleased with him).”
