Can a share for Aqeeqah be included with shares for Udhiyah or Qurbani in a large animal?
It is permissible for a share of Aqeeqah to be included in a large animal for Qurbani.
Aqeeqah refers to sacrificing a Halaal animal (goat sheep, bull, camel etc.) in gratitude to Allah Ta’aala on the birth of a child. It is effectively Taqarrub (an action performed for Allah’s Ta’aala pleasure, in gratitude to him or to fulfill His command), thus permitted to be included in a large animal for Qurbani.
Allamah Ibn Aabideen Shaami (Allah be pleased with him) states,
و كذا لو أراد بعضهم العقيقة عن ولد قد ولد له من قبل لان ذلك من جهة التقرب بالشكر على نعمة الولد
‘Likewise (it is permissible to include as a share) for someone who intends Aqeeqah of a child born before this Qurbani because Aqeeqah is gratitude on the birth of a child. So, in essence it is Ibaadah to Allah Ta’aala.’

Allamah Sadrush Shariah (Allah be pleased with him) states,
‘A share for Aqeeqah can be included in a large animal e.g. cow, sacrificed for Qurbani.’
